Hi Jamie - just wanted to make a few comments about our stay at Hogs Breath House. It is a wonderful property - perfectly roomy, kitchen very well appointed, ideal location, quiet, etc... All good. Just a few things for you to note - not criticism as much as, if you don't stay there youwon't know.
Lights: Porch lights are out. Or we couldn't find the right switch to turn them on. Same for dining room light, landscape lights, etc. The master suite on the right side of the kitchen had light switch on wall that controlled fan, and another that controlled - well, nothing... Nice to have that hooked up to one of the lamps or something...(that's a small thing)
The mulch on the entire property, while nice to keep the dust down and easy maintenance - is very very uncomfortable to walk on...
There is an odor in the bed/bedroom on second floor. My daughter slept there and said that it smelled like someone urinated on/in/near the bed. I never smelled it, but I didn't sleep in that room. Someone might want to take a whiff....
Beds on first floor were amazingly comfortable. We all wnted to take them home. Big men in our group and they slept like babies - so that's a good point...
KITCHEN - the dishwasher has to go. The bottom rack is missing wheels, difficult to load, etc. It has seen better days.
We truly loved the house - and will be recommending it and you to our friends. I have your number and will use it!!!
